What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying school fee for my son in Uzima University and a daughter in Masinde Muliro university. The remaining portion I spent in boosting my spouse vegetable business in the village. Through the business, my children have learnt all through to university. Therefore, boosting it was the best decision ever.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have without the transfers in that, my children have managed to stay in school without any interference.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has worked well in employing well luos to work in the luo villages rather than bringing people from other tribes who might have suffered from language barrier. One thing I would recommend the organisation to keep doing is maintaining fairness and transparency throughout.
