How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal for my recent transfer is for me to build my house, which I am planning to mold blocks to start the constructions.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my mind GiveDirectly did well because they are helping me with money to build my house and also start my business back because I never had money again to start my business back. I did not experience anything that GiveDirectly did not do well with.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Since I started receiving transfers from GiveDirectly, my desired had been to built my own house, in order to move out of the rental house I am presently staying in. For this reason I have been saving all my transfers for the building project. Therefore with my recent transfer, my goal still remain the same, that is to wait for my next transfer in order to buy all my building materials as once.

Before I started receiving transfers from GiveDirectly, it had been my biggest dream to built my own house and free myself and family from the stress of renting a house. What does receiving this money mean to you?
"The business I have now is not generating much money for the family. My husband is a gold digger, and he is earning very little. I am selling coal and kala to feed my children. The income from the little business is low. With the cash transfer, I will start a bigger business which will help substain my family. I will also use some of the money for children school fees and build a decent house. I am renting where I stay currently which is a burden for me.I will also save some of the money for future expenses. "
What is the happiest part of your day?
I have been sick for sometimes and was sitting home doing nothing. But God helped me , I am now well in my body. My husband credited some money for me to start a little business at home and I am now standing on my feet as a woman

"I have lot of good plans for my family but because of lack of money, my plans are not achievable. Things have become though, most of my children are not going to school. The little I earn from the market is just for feeding. So, I can say my major challenge faced now is lack of money".
