What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to buy a second hand motorcycle. I also purchased foodstuffs for family consumption with the rest of the transfer.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I can now fend for my family with less ado from my motorcycle transport business. In fact I can even save some cash for future use from the very business. Before getting GD support, my future was too blurred, I didn't know where I came from, where I was and even the future wasn't promising but now, everything is bright.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it give everyone an opportunity to meet the long desired dream. At the moment, I don't know what GD doesn't do well.

I spent my second transfer on buying an ox which I will be using for ploughing. I then bought a sack of corn for my family's feeding. I then spent the rest on buying a sheep which I will be rearing.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that every morning I have to ensure that my animals are grazed in good pasture and are properly watered and this gives me great pride.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on 3 plastic seats(3,300 KES) since we lacked seats, bought 1 bag of dry maize for food (3,500 KES) and clothing for my family to complement the old clothes (3,000 KES).
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my first transfer, I was in very high spirit and my mood was lifted, to the extent that while I slept later that night, I dreamt that I had succeeded in buying my own motor cycle, which is actually my life's dream.

At the moment we don't have any achievements that we can talk about, because we are just starting our lives as a married couple.

The biggest hardship is that I am positive and on drugs which require me to eat well, but because we don't have any kind of employment even getting a meal is a problem for us and we end up asking for my mother to share with us the little she has.

The happiest part of my day is when I have food in my house and my family is well.
