How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I have been in position to acquire a cow that is going to help settle future needs unlike before when I didn't have a cow of my own. Secondly, I have bought iron sheets that I am planning to use for constructing a bigger house for myself. I am currently sleeping a one bed roomed house that can't accomodate my family members and agricultural produce.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well to give me cash that enabled me acquire a cow and household items. GiveDirectly didn't do anything bad on my side.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase a cow, foodstuffs, hired a piece of land, paid my child's treatment and a debt.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means my self esteem will be boosted. I will buy cows that will act as an investment for my household. The cows will provide milk as food and some can be sold to generate income for my household.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is from 10:00am to 1:00pm after I am done with garden work and now waiting for lunch. That is my resting time during the course of the day and that gives me the happiness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The hardship I face is inadequate funds to support my projects like rearing animals and boosting my business of making mandazi, to mention.
