How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Many thanks to Givedirectly for their support. I'm so happy that I was enrolled on this program. Because my dream has come to passed. My plan was to buy land in cestos city for my children. In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion givedirectly did very well in my life and that of our village, givedirectly was able to enrolled almost the entire village. Givedirectly has changed our entire village with so many new houses. There's nothing that givedirectly hasn't done well.

Upon withdrawing my transfer I was able to buy my land in cestos city. I bought enough food for my family.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: For the past years I have dreamt of setting up my own business to support my family and I because this farming business is bitter sweet.
Because my husband and i only survived from the farm my mother in law make everything year, therefore with a business my spouse and i can also take care of ourselves and help my in law
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE: With the help givedirectly is giving us through their cash transfer program am well please.
Therefore I have seen nothing givedirectly is not doing well, the people from givedirectly that i have met are well train and kind, they knows how to talk to you even if you are not in the mood to listen/talk you will have to listen to them.

RE: I will be spending the most of my money on purchasing goods for my newly exstinguish business.
I wish to having my own business running where I can take care of my family and help my mother in law for all the time she been there for my family and i.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was cleaning up my room early in the morning when the message reached my phone. I first thought it was a mistake. But reading through the message and discovering that the money was sent from GD. I shouted and danced till people thought I was going mad. I felt shock of receiving such a huge amount that I have not receive before in my whole life.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I feel different because I have the means of building a new and better house for my family and I, since I started receiving cash from GiveDirectly. It is my first time to have received such an amount, which is a blessing to be on GD's program. Being able to paid for zinc and working towards constructing a new house is the biggest difference in my life.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought zinc to start the construction of a new house. My husband and I live together. We had this plan of building a new house because the one we currently live in is very old. It is a house with a thatch roof and an earth floor that is very cold. My most recent transfer has empowered me to make this plan real.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am home with no money to make business, the little farm my husband and myself have, we use the produce for feeding. With the cash transfer, I will use portion of the money to build a mini shop and start a business by selling some goods that are in demand. With the sales, I will safe some to money to build my house and have a good life in the future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am very happy today being part of the GiveDirectly programe.
I have been down financially, but I know with the support of GiveDirectly, I will start a business and have something better for my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My husband is the working , the little farm we have can not substain us and provide some finance. We only use the produce for feeding, because of the financial support has been my major challenge.
