Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to buy goats so that in case my children are sent home to collect the school fees I will sell them.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have bought a water tank for storing clean water for drinking. I depend on casual jobs in the village to get money to buy basic needs and school fees for my children. My spouse also does casual jobs and he has no constant source of income. I used to walk for a long distance to look for clean water for domestic use. This was so tiresome and time-consuming. My children could help me to carry water but most of the time they are in school. I could look for water in the morning and in the afternoon go to the farm. When I bought water tank I have saved enough time to work on my own farm. We drink clean water, my children are no longer exposed to waterborne diseases like before. I'm is so happy because I have enough time to work on my farm and get a good harvest .
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to have changed in that I will have saved enough and started a horticulture farming. I will be selling the produce to earn an income

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I have faced in my life is lack of enough funds to help support the family. There are times when we have to forego a lot of things for the family which should even be basic since we cannot meet all the needs with the little amount of money that we get.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the after noon when I have enough food for my children for the whole day. Nothing makes a mother happier than to see her children happy.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend part of my transfer in paying school fees for my children. I also have plans of buying clothes and food for the family using the transfers. I will use the remaining amount to buy at least two goats that I will rear.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
In the year 2009, we decided as a family to invest in tomatoes farming after maize failed to give us profits for three consecutive years. To our surprise, we made a very huge harvest which saw us make a lot of profits. It was then that we were able to build this house we are living in and even bought a dairy cow for the family. This was a great achievement to our family which I will never forget.
