How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No, I didn't have a new goal before receiving my third cash transfer, I planned to add to my existing business and pay my kids balance school fees. That is the plan I have since I started receiving cash transfer from Givedirectly. My first cash transfer was spent on registration and part payment of my children semester tuition. I started business with my second cash transfer and bought food, uniform, books and shoes to enable my kids start class.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly staffs don't accept gift from people and they are committed in performing their duties . I am so thankful to Givedirectly and those who contributed in taking me from one status to another. I have not heard of anything that Givedirectly didn't do well in this village.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have not cash out my money yet due to busy schedule. Upon cash out my transfer money, I am planning to buy goods to add to my existing business and pay my kids tuition for the semester.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am successful to receive the cash transfer, I will invest into business. I will go to Monrovia, buy DK bag, bring it here and sell it in the communities around here. I have decided to do this business because I researched and know that clothes are fast going here because now a days, a lot of people, especially the young people like wearing new things. I have planned to do this business long time, but I have not had the kind of money I need to do that. The coal production I am in here to be able to sell and keep some money for the business, the price of the coal has dropped. And the little cash I realised from the sale is used to buy food for the home and also send my children to school. So if I am successful to receive the cash, it will be a great opportunity for me to implement my business plan.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Yes, I was very happy in last September. During that time, things were tuff on us, especially to provide food for the home. Luckily, my husband was called in Monrovia for brushing land contract. After few days, he returned with four thousand Liberia dollars . With the amount we were able to have food in the home regularly for two weeks. That makes me happy within the two weeks.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge for me here is how to raise money to engage into business, send my children to school and also provide food for the home. Although as mentioned to you earlier, I am engaged into activities that I can earn money from. However the money is not enough to implement all my plans I mentioned about earlier. Because of this, raising money is a real challenge for me here.
