How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't have any new goals, because I already had a goal before receiving the transfer, I decided to continue with my old goal which is to build my new house. So I bought one bundle of zinc to start my building project, so my family and I can have a good living place.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am a mother of 7 children and all of them are in school. Some are are in Monrovia living with my first son. Every semester, I have to transfer over 25,000 LBR for their school. We are only depending on farming for sustainability which is also not enough to take us year round. I will be very happy if I am eligible to receive transfer from GiveDirectly. If I am eligible, I will use my transfer towards my children education because they will in return help me when they are educated.
What is the happiest part of your day?
After spending thousands of Liberian dollars towards my kids school last year, I was very happy in July when their schools closed and all 7 of them make a successful pass. I was happy because my finance spend towards their education yield good results.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Subsistence farming is labor intensive and the produce is not enough for income generation. Every year, we go farming but have nothing to show as benefits. Sometimes, I feel very bad because I did not complete my education which led me to this farming business. Because there is no sustainable source of income, we find it difficult at times to pay our children fees in school and even food to eat during the wet season, therefore, my main challenge as a household is finance to cater to our children school business.
