Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I have a new goal to purchase a sheep and start a second-hand clothes-selling business through the savings I have been building over time from the poultry project. This will be a step ahead toward buying a cow in the future when the productivity of both the sheep and poultry will be at their optimal.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Of all the projects which I have been able to start with the GiveDirectly transfers, the one which stands out and is so far bringing the biggest difference in my daily life is the establishment of a poultry farming. At the start, it looked small since I had only started with 11 chickens. In the last four months, I have seen the project being so productive and able to feed the whole family through the sell of the eggs. I still have a plan to continue expanding the project to better productivity since its management has not been that hard for us.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to see the clothe-selling business having started since this is the point I will be focusing on as a stepping stone towards starting other businesses.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Before I started receiving the transfer from Give DIrectly, I used to solely depend on menial jobs in order to earn and help my spouse with our children's school fees. I used to spend so much time on other people's farms doing this such that I barely had any time to work on my own farm. My life is currently different from how it was in that I no longer go around looking for casual work to do but instead, I now concentrate on my own farm. This has greatly improved the farm's productivity and I am now happy about it. I am also less tired nowadays as compared to before when I used to really overwork myself.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The additional goals for my life for the next four months is to buy a sheep. I settled on this since it is more affordable. When they reproduce and increase in number, I will sell and use the money to buy a dairy cow.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I am a proud owner of a poultry project that I started with the transfers from Give Directly. I have always wanted to start a poultry project in vain due to lack of funds and when this door opened, it was a perfect opportunity to start. I did not only start the project but I have been expanding it whenever I have additional cash.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the next six months is to have bought some sheep for rearing. Now that I spend more time working on my farm, I will have ample time to look after them and apart from this, sheep is easy to rear and less labor intensive. My plan is that once the sheep reproduces into a good number, I can sell some and probably buy a cow.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that my family now have enough food unlike before when they used to take one or two meals a day. This has been possible because of financial aid I am now getting. Because of this, my family is always happy and this has always given me a reason to smile.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to buy a goat since they increase in number within a short period of time. This is affordable and I can also use their milk to make tea for my family. Because of this, I will spend money I would have otherwise used in buying milk to pay school fees for my children.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that my children are no longer being sent back home to collect school fees as they used before. Since we heavily depended on the casual work which is rarely found, getting enough money to buy basic needs for my family and to pay school fees for my children was not an easy task. This always led to my children being sent back home to collect school fees after every three weeks and this affected their performance as they would at times stay at home for one week before going back to school. This had always affected negatively their performance in school but I am now glad that my children can now concentrate on their studies since they are no longer being sent back home.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have bought a goat. I will use my next transfer to achieve this. Because of this, I will have started saving some money on a daily basis which I will use to pay school fees for my children. The goat and my children's education will be a permanent mark in my heart of GiveDirectlys support.
