What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on tractor hire and cultivation for 1-acre piece of land(3,000 KES), a little dry corn for consumption92,000 KES), and also put aside money (5,000 KES) that I plan to add to my next transfer and spend on building a house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money I felt something like shock, and then I recovered enough to pray and say thank you to God because I had been stranded, had no money to hire a tractor yet the season for planting was here, and I did not want to labour much by us of my hands. I thank God GD transfer enabled me hire a tractor and also do a few other things.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced in my life, is that my husband is a motorcycle taxi rider, and most of the time, he comes back home with little money that can not sustain the family needs, like food as well as payment of school fees. Above all, the motorcycle is not for the family, but for some one else, who also needs daily return every evening.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is night, because that is when my children, and my husband are back home from school and work respectively, and we can share dinner together as a family. Other part of the day, i am alone at home.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will mean a lot in my life, because right now i am homeless, and my family is hosted at my brother in-law home. Now i hope that, i will be able to build our own home, and that's the family plan.
