Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My next plan is to continue saving to raise more money to buy a lactating dairy cow. I believe that in the next four months I would have raised a good amount which I will then sell the heifer I bought and put together the cash so that I would buy a lactating cow.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
A few months ago, I had to save part of my transfers through a merry-go-round and recently I received the collections which I spend to buy a young heifer. I had no dairy cow and this means I have been buying milk for use at home. This is very costly to us as we usually depend on casual jobs for a living. Now having a heifer is a great step towards having a lactating dairy cow in the near future. All this was achievable with the transfers which I got from GiveDirectly.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next months, I believe that I would have bought a dairy cow and buying milk will be something to forget about. I will start saving what I would have spent on buying milk and spend on buying other household necessities.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Our new goal is to start a merry go round group with some of my friends in the village. I will then use the money that I will save to buy a heifer. I look forward to owning a dairy cow. We will continue with the group so that we are able to save enough and help each other to make huge investments such as this dairy initiative
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the income that has come from farming. During the last four months, I enjoyed a continuous high income as I was harvesting and selling tomatoes that I planted and grown using the transfers. I, therefore, afforded to pay school fees for my child without a struggle unlike before. I used to have to do menial jobs for very little ages to meet her school fees needs. Providing for my household also become easier and smoother since I had been generating income fromthe farming venture.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I will have a dairy cow and my crop farming will be doing better. I expect to do more of the tomato farming to ensure that I make more money for my family's use. I have all the skills I need in the crop farming that will ensure higher success and profits because I will get sufficient inputs such as farm chemicals and seeds using the transfers.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different in that I have been able to meet the cost of the basic household needs of the family without having to struggle like I used to do before. These transfers have also helped me to take part and be consistent in making my contributions as well as practice advanced farming by buying hybrid quality seeds and applying fertilizers something I did not do before.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am part of a merry go round group that was initiated in the village among people receiving GiveDirectly transfers. Once I receive the money from this merry go round, then I will combine it with the money obtained from the tomato harvest and finally be able to buy the long awaited dairy cow. Buying this dairy cow shall help me a lot in meeting the basic household needs by selling the surplus of milk produced.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life that has happened over the last four months is that I have been able to cultivate a quarter of an acre and put it under cultivation. The tomatoes that I planted in the farm are due for harvest in the next three months and I will be very happy to realize huge harvest due to the care that they have received. The proceeds from this farm shall be used to buy a dairy cow and generally raise the living standards of my family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect my life to change positively in many aspects. I expect to be more financially stable and raise enough income for the family that can sustain us as a family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Before I started receiving the transfers from Givedirectly, I used to spend so much time working as a casual laborer that I did not even have time to work on my own farm. Right now, I try and balance my time working as casual and also on my piece of land. I no longer overwork myself unlike before and am focused on my children because I spend more time with them.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to build a poultry house in the next few months. I have always wanted to keep poultry but I had not gotten enough funds to start it off. I want to invest in poultry so as to become a source of income for us as a family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now live in a nice and clean house. I bought some furniture and furnished by house well and I don't fear visitors coming to my house now. Before, My house did not look neat and even lacked chairs to sit on and I was aven ashamed to letbin visitors because there was nothing they could sit on.We also have enough food for us to eat and I do borrow from my neighbours anymore like I sometimes used to do before.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the near future is to have a dairy cow for rearing. The milk produced by the cow will go a long way in reducing the daily expenditure and I can invest what I will save by doing that elsewhere. I also want to renovate my house. I live in a mud walled house now and I want my status in the society to improve. I want to comfortably provide my children with all the needs they require.
