I spent my second transfer on paying school fees.I also plastered my house and built a kitchen.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 16,000 KES to pay fees for my daughter in college, 20,000 KES to pay school fees for my son in secondary school, I spent 9,000 KES on eye treatment for my son in Sabatia. I also bought 8 iron sheets at 4,800 KES to repair my roof.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
If I had not received the transfers, I would have been compelled to sell my piece of land so as to educate my children. I did not sell my land and am still farming on it and my children have been able to go to school.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend the transfer to pay school fees for two of my children in high school and college. I also plan to spend the transfer to renovate my house. The iron sheets are old and leaking.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that I have been able to construct a house for the family though it has become old nowadays.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I have faced in life is lack of enough money to pay school fees for my children. I just depend on making charcoal and sisal ropes which only give me meagre income and therefore cannot meet all the needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when am busy making charcoal or sisal ropes which I later sell to earn a living.
