How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is difference than it wouldd have been if I never received the transfer in that I have gained a piece of mind since I have acquired a she - cow which has already reproduced and now the money I used to buy milk with I have saved on buying household expenditures .

Givedirectly does well by carring out door to door enrollment which has enhance transparency on selecting the most poor homesteads in the society inaddition money is given directly without involving intermediaries .

I spent my second transfer money on buying a she - cow which has already reproduced and now the money I used to buy milk with I have saved on buying household expenditure . I also bought a donkey which unfortunately died .

I spent my first transfer on building a 2-roomed kitchen (22,000 KES),and upgrading my existing house by fixing 2 glass windows and a fascia board (17,000 KES). I spent the balance on some dry corn for food.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?

"The biggest hardship I have faced in the recent past was my father's sickness.I really had to strain to make him get treatment."

"My happiest moments of the the usually comes in the evening.This is the time I have gotten something to prepare for my children after a long day's work."

"Receiving this money makes me feel so happy knowing that I will pay school fees,complete my house and generally change my life and that of my family."
