What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought 8 bags of cement at 6,400 KES, paints worth 7,600 KES and paid 8,000 KES for labour to plaster and paint the house. I also bought a knaspack sprayer container at 2,500 KES, water pipe at 6,000 KES, paid up a debt of 3,000 KES, pesticides at 2,500 KES and sent 2,000 KES to my mother. I am planning to construct a cow shade with the rest of the transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have been able to plaster the walls and floor of my house and therefore am not constantly repairing the walls; moreover, my house now looks very beautiful since I painted it.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We plan to pay some loan we took to renovate our house, build a toilet and to save the rest for school fees.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement am proudest of is irrigation farming. This was an initiative by some NGO which we decided to take advantage of. We do commercial farming of fruits like water melon and vegetables like tomatoes. Through this we have been able to sustain our family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we face is just sustaining our farming activities. We always need a generator to pump water, that means fuel expenses. We also need pipes.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I am relaxing in the evening, especially when everything I had planned to do worked out.
