It was in the morning around 8:40 am , I was farming in the crop land then I heard a notification message from Givedirectly. I was suprised and happy at the same time. The first thing that came in my mind is that I was going to be rich.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I thank Givedirectly for the financial support, I was able to renew the house we had neither money or savings to do that. Moreover I bought maize seeds to put in my land and I paid school fees for my children.

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Our house is not done yet. We want to pave the inside and buy metal sheet because there is one part which is not well, when it rains, all water comes inside. We will renovate the house using $600. We will also buy a land of $200 to improve our agriculture and get enough harvest
What is the happiest part of your day?
I have a family of 3 young children and raising them is not easy. So, when we are all healthy and get the basic needs for them, we are always happy. Another thing is that living with communtiy in peace also makes us happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest challenge is that we do not have enough land for cultivation. In addition to that we rent land for $5 or $10 per year but sometimes getting that amount is very hard for us. Moreover, we only have one cow which is not enough to get fertiliser and milk for our children.
