Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The cash transfers have transformed us alot. I was able to beautify my home with new household items and also pay off old loans. Previously, we had to engage more into casual labour which was unreliable.

I felt very happy that day when I received the cash transfer. We had many debts that we had failed to finance. We were living in fear .

I spent the first cash transfer to pay loans worth UGX1200000 and a bed worth UGX75000 and a mattress woth UGX115,000 and bedsheets worth UGX40000 and curtain worth UGX15000 and a solar power system worth UGX130000. The balance was spent on food.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will own additional acre of farm land. I own two acres of farm land which is not adequate to support the household. I am a peasant farmer relying on farming for survival. This will improve on my household's income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I wake up and I feel strong and healthy. That will enable enable to be involved in my household activities like garden work and te like. That strength is the source of my support to the household and it's members.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face is that, I do not own oxen. That limits my ability in getting involved in farming. I delay to plant and hence leading to poor low yields and income at household level.
