Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I am Sando Kromah from folley town, Bomi County Liberia. I was very happy when I receive the transfer money from Givedrectly, because I been blind for one year now and life has been very tough for me. I am very young to be blind. Seeing myself in this condition has left me in the state of hopelessness. I am very happy that Givedrectly has come to help me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I been blind for one year now and didn't have money to start treatment. The transfer money I received from Givedrectly means a lot to me because, I will be starting treatment soon, and I pray to regain my eyesight again. When I receive all of my transfer money from Givedrectly, I will spend all for my treatment. I am so happy. Thanks to Givedrectly for helping me and God will surely bless those that have favor me.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive the transfer I intend to seek treatment for my eyes. I'm a blind woman who is hopeful of regaining my sight. I'm not comfortable with my current situation because I'm not able to make my own farm to provide food for my children and pay their school fees. I would have loved to see and be able to work for myself, raise money to pay for my children school fees. But due to the Lost of my sight, I'm unable to do anything of my own.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What makes me feel happy in the last six months is that people were very kind to me and showered me with money and other essential gifts that I didn't pay for of my own.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
One of the major challenges faced me is my inability to make my own farm because of my blindness. However, I am in a polygamous home where each wife is to care and cater to their own children welfares. But my children welfares are heavily depended on my husband because of my blindness.
