Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal is to spend my next transfer on preparing a piece of land for planting maize. I will also spend part of it on buying quality seeds. I hope I will get to achieve all this with less struggle as I am assured of receiving the monthly transfer. In farming, you got to succeed well when you got timely planting and correct practice which would result in high yields.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the last four months, I have been investing a large portion of my monthly transfer on farming. I believe that with the money which I get, I wouldn't manage to do much with it at once and opted to invest so that I would earn more money when I got to harvest the produce.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I believe that I would have harvested cabbages which I now have on a seedbed. The seeds which I manage to plant with the money which I received from Give Directly. The money which I would earn from it would enable me to cater to my household expenses and pay school fees for my children.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago. I now have peace of mind because I can settle most of the bills. I can now pay my children school fees and still provide the daily household needs without hustling too much. I was also able to do, farming since I could afford the inputs and pay labor. Apart from that I also managed to start a poultry farm that helps me meet my daily needs unlike before and this is happiness.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal is to start poultry farming. I want to do poultry farming because it is the most lucrative business at the moment. The products of this project are in high demand. Schools and hotels besides the locals in this village badly want the eggs from the traditional chicken. I know after a few months after the business has picked I will start reaping the benefits. I really thank Give Directly for enabling me to start doing this project. Such was only considered for the rich who could afford to buy the inputs and the chicks which usually require huge capital. I feel lucky because I am counted among the people who can do such projects in this village
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
AS a mother, I always struggle to bring up a happy family and children with a brighter future. I have invested in my children education but the little resource I have always put me in stress since I don't like whenever my children are sent out of school to come to collect fee at home and what hurt the most is staying at home together as I look for money. I rely on farming and the little I get I spend partly on my household needs and their education making it a challenge to clear on time. The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have been able to pay my children school fees. I am glad I did so because they can now study well and never miss lessons. This will give them a humble time to read and perform well in their studies
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months because I will have started my poultry farming. This will improve my life because I will be earning a better income. I know I will earn better because of the high demand my product is in our local market. This will also enable me to complete the hairdressing training that I started recently. Once I get a certificate I will be in a better position to employ myself by starting saloon business. With this I know my living standards will improve, I will rarely take loans. This will ensure that I have a steady growth both financially healthwise and emotionally

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Initially, I was not able to purchase pesticides to use on my farm thus yields were very low. This was my only source of income to cater for me food and school fees. But currently, the transfer from GiveDireclty has enabled me to maintain my farm very well by purchasing the right pesticides. This has increased my income thus payment of school fees has been easyer unlike before.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to start poultry farming. I will achieve this by saving the income from both milk production and that I get from farm produce.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I used to lack money to buy pesticides but now I have. I am a subsistence farmer. The yield from my farm has been low initially due to poor maintenance. This is because most of the time I could not afford to purchase the required pesticides thus was mostly affected by insects and diseases. This is my only source of the income to cater for me food and school fees for my children. So low yield means lack of food and no school fees. Thanks to GiveDirectly. The transfer has assisted greatly in purchasing pesticides. My farm yields have now increased and I can now afford to meet my family needs.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect in the next six months to have started poultry farming. The egg production will assit me in payment of school fees and purchase other household needs.

My new goal is to plant cabbages which I have just raised in a nursery so that in the near future I can get money for use and for paying school fees for my children.
