Unfortunately or fortunately I do not have any new goal a part from improving my business from small scale business to large scale, I am sure this will enable me to get more profit.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have managed to expand my business of selling cereals by adding more stock. The business was almoat collapsing because I took all the capital plus the profit l got from the business without refund . The business is now doing very well because of the added stock and I am getting more profit. The profit is my income which I am using to cater for my family needs l no longer take the capital from the business again . My spouse is also now a very happy man because I am able to support him financially.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months I expect to have improved my business of large scale and getting more profit for my family up keep.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have been saving the cash every month so for this month, I decided to use the savings to buy floor tiles which I have already used on the floor of my house.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I want to erect a new ceiling bord in my house to protect me from the direct heat from the sun. Buying the building materials requires some good amount which I do not have at the moment but I know that I will be able to make some savings and make the dream become a reality.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference for me so far is that I have been able to paint the entire house which now looms quite neat and presentable. I had to save money for a few months in order to raise the amount required to complete such a project.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to save as much I can so that I can be able to get a new ceiling board. All that I need to do is to make some savings every month so that within a period of four to six months, I should be able to have saved enough amount.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have been using the money to buy a few household utensils which I never owned before. Currently, I can be proud to say that I own a number of house utensils so, in the event that I host so many visitors at my place, I do not have to go borrowing from my neighbors. Apart from that, I have also managed to change my drawer settings by buying a lot of clothes for myself and probably do away with the old and worn out clothes.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal which includes paying school fees for my children at the right time so that they can spend most of their time concentrating on their studies rather than spending time at home after being sent away from school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I think the biggest difference for me is that I have been able to boost my business using cash transfers. Initially, I used to buy one sack of maize and then re-sell at a profit but currently, I am able to get two to three bags of maize which I sell out within a span of one week. My main goal is to ensure that I am able to buy more bags per week so as to increase my earnings.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to make some few repairs on my house and transform it into a semi-permanent structure. What we are planning to do with my husband is to buy the building materials such as cement and sand which we are going to use to carry out the process.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have been able to take goods on credit because I am sure of repaying it with utmost ease whenever GD sends me the cash at the end pf every month.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I want to boost my business so that I can be able to make more money and be able to sustain our family. Right now I feel that my business is not generating enough profits for me that can take me to the next level.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been able to use the cash to sort my urgent financial needs when I am so broke. Initially, I used to get emergencies but sorting them out was never easy when there is no money. On the contrary, today I am in a position to handle all my emergencies quite well. For instance, right now my son has been sent away from school yet I had no cash to sort him out but when I got the cash from GD two days ago, I became so happy because I knew I would easily pay his school fees arrears.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I have a plan of expanding my business so that I can be able to sell more of my goods and as a result make more profits from my business. The profits that I earn from my business will then be used to sort the household financial needs.

The biggest hardship I have faced is difficulty in raising the school fees for our three children in Secondary schools. Sometimes it drains us of all the savings.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is usually in the evening when we are all at the table enjoying our meals and thereafter sharing our different experiences for the day. Everyone in the house is usually happy at this time as we make fun of each other before we retire to bed.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend my transfer from Give Directly on improving my cereals business.Usually my stock is one bag of 90kgs but with the transfer,I intend to add more bags thus increase my returns.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement that am most proud of is the purchase of poshomill that currently generates an income range of kshs 600 to kshs1000 per day.
