How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am currently riding some body's motorbike and the bike owner expects UGX 50,000 weekly that leaves me with little money for addressing my family needs. Having received these transfers, I am now in the process of look for a suitable motorbike to buy. Once I get my own bike, I will have enough money to pay my children's school fees, agriculture and I will be in position to save money for maintaining my motorbike since all the money I make will be mine.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means a great improvement in my home. I will be able to build an iron roofed house no matter what the size will be. Grass has become so scarse and expensive that I can not afford. But most of all, I feel it is the best I can do to remember the great opportunity that I have had the chance to be part of.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the noon time when I am listening to music and other radio programs. Some of these programs build on my personal life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Poverty is the biggest hardship that I am faced with. At some point in time, I used to ride a motorcycle for boda boda services which would earn me money for a living. However, this was withdrawn since it (motorcycle) was not mine. To this end, I have not been in position to do any business because I do not have where to start from. I do not have capital with which I can venture in any productive business.
