How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before GIVE Directly could come here I was a farmer which was hectic for me but upon receiving give directly money I was able to transform my life by making business to help my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly did extremely well by helping us with money to also help ourselves live a better life. Actually everything give directly did was good.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The recent transfer was used to buy a plot of land and pay my children school fees.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"I plan to send all my children to school because my other son is not in school this semester due to financial crisis. Secondly, my next plan would be to build a house for my children and myself to stay together as a family. My other two children are staying somewhere else and it makes me sad!"
What is the happiest part of your day?
"What makes me happy everyday is when my children are free from sicknesses and when all of them are healthy! In the past six months God has really been blessing us with food and this brings me joy. My mother also visited me in recent times and it made me so happy to know that she was doing great in her health."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"Money is my greatest challenge! If I had money I won't be carrying banana around to sell which does not even generate much. I'm tired passing on the streets! I'm also tired with making farm because nothing good comes from the rice. I'm being challenged with the animals that eats the crops!"
