Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have a new goal other than investing my next transfers on purchasing chemicals for spraying the cabbages which I currently on a seeds bed. Apart from that, I would spend some amount to hire people to cultivate my farm. All these investments I will give me a net return of approximately KES 30000 within a period of four months. This is why I don't want to invest in any other new project
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the past four months, I have been able to carry out my farming activities without straining. Initially, I entirely depend on casual jobs which were unreliable in most cases. These jobs used to consume most of my time hence making my farming more difficult. Now I am able to carry out farm practices on time hence getting high yields.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I would have harvested and sold the cabbages. The approximate income I expect to get from this investment is about KES 30000. I plan to spend part of this money to buy a cow and the remaining portion to start a family. I intend to get married soon and I look forward to this harvest so that I would have enough money to sustain us for a few months as I look for other means of generating income.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I no longer do much of the casual jobs in the village but rather work on my own farm. I'm so much grateful for the support.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goals for the next four months is to continue saving money after sales to enable me to buy a dairy cow. This project will also earn me an income by selling milk at the shopping center.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have started to concentrate on my own farm unlike before where I could do much of the casual jobs in the village. I used to work on my neighbor's farm and the money I could get was not enough to meet my basic needs and at the same time buy farm inputs. After I started receiving the money from GiveDirectly I was in a good position to buy the farm input like the fertilizers and seeds. Currently, I sell the produce at the market and I'm able to generate an income through this. I meet all my basic needs and save the rest to join a college in the near future.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have got the money to join a college. I will not struggle to raise school fees.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I have been able to lease a farm where I have been able to plant some beans. I am optimistic that this will change my life since I will be able to sell my produce and get money to use in daily needs. I used to only depend on my small backyard that could produce less than a sack of maize that would not last us long. After leasing the farm, I am sure to get some income from it by selling some of the farm produce.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
At the moment, I do not have any new goal for the next four months but my new goal for the next one year is to join college so that I can further my studies. It has always been my dream to do so since without education in the current world one may suffer a lot. Education is considered as the pillar of a successful life. I thank Give Directly for enabling me go back to school and making my dreams look achievable.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I am more hopeful and have a positive attitude in life. I decided to invest in Agriculture since I used the transfers to plant some vegetables seeds which are now on a nursery bed. I believe that vegetable farming will earn me a sustainable income even after I have completed receiving transfers from Give Directly. This will save me from depending on casual jobs alone.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have gathered enough money to use in paying for my school fees. I will no longer be doing the hectic casual jobs with the aim of accumulating my college fees. I must admit that the transfers have changed my life and is continuing to change it because I am less worried and more ambitious. With me acquiring a course, I believe It would land me a good job some day.
