How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently is that I am able to feed well, my house is now looking beautiful.

I am planning to expand my house and purchase a cow.

The biggest difference is that I can feed well in my household. Food was a major problem in my household.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will have taken my child to college, I will also will have bought a cow.

I have a new goal of renovating my pit latrine to make it permanent.

My life is currently different than it would have been if I never received the transfer because I have made a step higher in life,something which I never expected
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect my life to be an honorable person in the village with the many transformations that I expect to achieve.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the improved living standard that I have currently acquired. The fact that I can no longer suffer from hunger and very able to purchase any type of food that I may wish, is something worth appreciating and bragging over.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Lack of proper income to sustain my familly has been the biggest hardship am currently facing. Providing basic needs such as food and clothing hasn't been easy at times we normally skip breakfast and lunch so as to save for evening meals.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am more happiest in the evening while sharing meals as afamily, these is the time we endulge more on issues affecting us as a family.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Build a permanent toilet will be my priority. From my first tranfer, I will buy cement, bricks and ballast to contrusct the toilet since am currently using my neighbour's toilet and at times she is not willing to help
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement was constructing my house last year. It has provided shelter and security for my family and am not worried of lossing household items through theft anymore.
