How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is very different now that i have received this transfer. I depend on farming for daily needs and due to lack of fertilizer the harvest has been low to cater for my family considering that i am a single parent. We used to eat once in a day or twice on better days but with you support i have topped up our food stock and bought fertilizer so that i harvest enough this farming season.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well in giving free transfers directly to us without going through the chiefs as some of us would have been left out. There is nothing that you did not do well but if you could give an extra third transfer it would have been better because i would have finished fixing the roofing of my house
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy a mattress, 1 bag of fertilizer, roofing nails, and 2 doors. I also bought food for my family. Thank you for the transfer; my family can now afford three meals in a day.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is a huge relief as I believe this money will help me to build a better house as I have always wanted to build and sleep in an iron sheet roofed house but it has not been possible to do that due to financial constraints.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I like to cook fish and nsima which is my favourite meal
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I lack money for fertilizers which has always affected my maize production every year resulting in my family having to sleep with hunger on most days
