How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than if I had not received cash transfers in that, I can now easily get money on a daily basis that I use for solving household challenges. Before I received cash transfer, it was very difficult to earn even UGX 20,000 in a month.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has done well in their selection criteria, the most vulnerable are the ones they are enrolling to the programme. I do not see what they have not done well since their intervention and approach is well planned.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my cash transfer of UGX 1,633,000 to top up on the first cash transfer and bought a motor cycle which I am using for boda boda transport business.
