What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I finished the construction of my main house-it was an expensive bungalow than the roofing a lone cost me 300000 KES, amount I couldn't be able to raise if it were not the intervention from Give Directly.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I have acquired a better house where we live more comfortably without relying on financial institutions for loans. I live a debt-free kind of life and I can equate this to peaceful state of mind I have acquired since then.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Give Directly does well is that it sends us money in time but where it misses it is sending us less than we would need. Since we are anticipating bigger projects, I would ask next time it tries to increase this amount a little bit higher, above 1000 Us dollar.
