What does receiving this money mean to you?
I intend to purchase oxen and ox-plough with Givedirectly transfers. Iam currently having shortage of food and other neccessities in my household. This is because I only rely on hand hoe for cutlivation thus each seaon ,there is less produc e harvested to support our needs. These oxen will enable my household engage into ealier and large scale crop farming, hence increase in production. This will help reduce the burden of food shortages in my household.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My better moments come during evening hours. Iam busy looking for means of survival the whole day but only able to relax late in the evening. I play and sing traditional songs with my grand children. This has always acted as relieving factor in my day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is hunger. I donot have oxen and enough land for cultivation hence my household realises very little produce each year. This does not support our needs since there is food shortage. My family members are becoming malnutritious.
