Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My main aim is to spend my next transfer to invest in farming. I plan to plough a piece of land and plant maize. I will then spent preceding transfer to purchase fertilizers and maize seeds. Since it is a planting season we opt to invest in farming so that we won't lack food next year. This would enable us to feed our family with less struggle.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I was able to clear school fees for my children on time. We didn't struggle too much this time as we normally do. We would have some school fees arrears rolled to the following year since we wouldn't manage to clear on time. I used to depend on casual jobs which were unreliable sometimes. This brought a lot of inconveniences especially to my children who could be at times be sent home. I am happy they will now study without being interrupted.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I believe that I will be living a better life. I know I will now be at the same level as the rest of my villagers. I am not trying to compete with them but it feels bad to be always the odd one out in everything. I thank God Give Directly brought me to improve my living standards. Having our children study peacefully and being able to afford food would assure us humble time to do other income-generating activities.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that my children are no longer being sent back home. This is because I have been using part of my transfers to pay their school fees on time. This has given them peace of mind since they get enough time to dedicate on their studies. Apart from this, I have been able to replace their old school uniforms on time hence they are always decent.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The additional goals for my life for the next four months is to top dress my crops and take care of them so that they cannot be invested with diseases. This will lead to an increase in production thus I will be able to sell more this year and get more money to use in paying school fees for my children.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Initially, we entirely relied on casual labour to meet all the family's needs. With GiveDirectly transfers, we have been able to work less and still afford to feed the family as we pay school fees without any difficulty. My family is generally happier than how it was four months a go.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I want to work towards ensuring that my children are not at any given time sent home for school fees. Although I have been able to pay school fees for my children, they have been sent home sometimes as the money I have may be used elsewhere. I want to ensure that I pay their school fees in time and keep them in school at all times.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life in the last four months is that I can now afford to pay school fees with very little difficulty unlike in the past. My children could be sent home for school fees and they usually stayed lat home for a longer time before we could get money to send them back to school. Our children have since been able to stay in school and their performance has improved a lot over the last four months. This has rejuvenated my pride as a parent and has motivated me to even work harder to continue giving my family the best.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months one of my children will be clearing form four. This will give me a perfect opportunity to start building a new house for the family. The house that we are staying in is quite smaller and we are looking forward to having a much more bigger house that will make my family happier and make me a proud parent.
