What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I plastered the walls and floor of my main house with loamy soil and spent the rest on a steel door and 3 steel windows that I have fitted unto the house to revamp my security. Currently, I live in a better house and a good environment where my life and belongings are not at risk of being stolen.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received transfers from Give Directly in the following ways: I have moved from a leaky grass-thatched house to a leak-free iron roofed house and again, my health has improved since affording meals has never been such a big challenge as compared to before then.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, what Give Directly does well is that it sends us money directly and with a lot of confidentiality, however, I would urge them next time to run a communal aid for example community farming project, water project etc to help us move further and together.
