How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I thank Give Directly for coming into my life because it has really changed my life. I am proud to testify that my children are now eating well and I am also able to pay their school fees with less the less difficulty in paying school fees for my son.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal for the next four months is to expand my welding business by opening another branch in a different area. I thought of it because it's an additional source income Secondly, it is easy to manage so long as I have a few people to help me with the work.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have been investing my transfers in farming. In the last season, I bought fertilizer and hybrid seeds that I planted. I also hired a few people from my village to help me with the farm work. I thank God through Give Directly, I managed to get a bumper harvest. We have enough food and also surplus to exchange for money. We have enough food to feed our family. I am also paying school fees for my children with a lot of ease and on time, they are also very happy because they are no longer sent home for fee balances unlike before.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I am working extra hard to raise capital to put up a home. I believe having a home is a good thing and even your age mates respect you. There is a lot of freedom when you are in your home moreso in decision making.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different because I finally moved away from doing small scale farming to large scale farming. I am now able to purchase hybrid fertilizers and seeds which are known to be yielding high returns at the end of the season. I am now sure of getting high yields at the end of every season as compared to the few bags of maize which I used to harvest in the past.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I want to have dispaly samples at my workshop but the most difficult part of getting the samples is getting the raw materials that are used to build the items. Some of those raw materials are very expensive and purchasing them may need a lot of money which I currently do not have.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference is that the monthly cash transfers have helped me a lot in opening a new workshop where I operate from very comfortably. I managed to save some cash which played a great role in making my dreams of owning a workshop come true. I used the money to buy tools such as welding machine, grinder, and vice machine
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Since this is the job I have a passion for, I know that it will not take me a long duration before I open a new branch where I will be operating. Once I have a new branch, it will also offer an employment opportunity for other young guys who are willing to learn and earn a living from the job.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
When I started receiving these tranfers, I decided to invest some of them in poultry farming. This has project grew over the last few months and I was able to sell some of the chicken and raised enough money to buy a goat. I consider this as growth and hope that someday, the goat will give a bigger return.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am currently planning to enlarge my chicken project by making it more business oriented. I am currently enlarging the chicken pen and will soon bring in layers. I want to be an egg-supplier in my area because I noticed there isn't any within the village and people must travel long distances to collect their supplies.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Life was a bit tough before because of little income due to lack of jobs within the village. With the projects that I was able to start using these transfers, I have an extra source of income and I don't get as broke as before even when there are no jobs. I can sell some of my chickens to raise money whenever I am in dire need of money.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I am working hard to ensure that in the next six months, my chicken project is up and running. I hope that the money I will be making from egg-supply will change my life by enabling me to open another business(Welding workshop) Which requires more money to set up. With that workshop open, I know that all my financial problems will be solved because it is a very lucrative business that will be earning me money.
