What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive the Givedirectly cash transfer I intend to build a concrete house Though I build my own house, but the house I build the wall is made of mud, and when the rain starts to fall the mud get wet and most of our belongings can get damaged .I have been living in this mud structure for past five years and I'm not comfortable with this kind of condition. Though I'm engaged in farming but the money I earned is not enough to build concrete house.I will really appreciate any help from Give Directly to improve my livelihood.
What is the happiest part of your day?
With all the difficulties I'm experiencing, hearing about such a great opportunity from Give Directly brought me so much joy, because my livelihood will be improve.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing now is the lack of money to build a concrete house. Though I make farm but the money that I earned from the farm is what I uesd to provide food for my children. I have been during the farming work for the past 7 years and I have developed body pain from it.I really want to leave this farming work because it is a very difficult work, but I have to option but to work hard to provide food for my children .Moreover seeing my kids living in a house that is made of mud make me shame.I really want to build a concrete house for my kids to live somewhere comfortable, but there's no money
