How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer because I have been able to complete my house, purchase livestock and offset some debts that have been disturbing me for a very long time.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly did well to develop communities in terms of financing. These transfers have enabled people buit houses, start businesses, go back to school and acquire livestock and farmland. To me give directly has done nothing wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
During the time of enrollment I was sleeping in incomplete house. When I received the transfer I decided to use it for complision of the house both plastering and flooring. My daughter had left her marital home and there was need to compensate the in-law and I used part of the transfer for compensation. I have been suffering how to store water and I also decided to buy a tank. The remaining money I spent it on feeding my household because there is not enough food to feed on.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means completing my house by plastering it and purchasing oxen for ploughing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when my children are around me chatting.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Lack of oxen for ploughing. This has caused low crop production due to hand hoe cultivation.
