How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My first transfer was used to improve my house roof . My new goal is now to change my kitchen roof from thacth to zinc. Our village doesnot have any charging booth for phones. My new plan is now for me to electrify my house and attach small charging booth where recipients will go to charge their phones without traveling long distances for charging phones. I believe that when I start to charge phones in this community, I will be able to generate enough money to take care of my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?

What is the happiest part of your day?
Besides being a local farmer, I am a teacher at the Gbarsaw Public School in Sayah Town. In 2015, my name was deleted from the Ministry of Education (MOE) payroll as a teacher. In March of 2021, the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) recalled and hired me as a teacher again at the Sayah Town Public School. This brought happiness to me and my entire family
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Our major challenge is the lack of needed cash to adequately support my family especially the paying of tuition and fees
