How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I can say that there has been a change in my life because for the last few months I have been using the transfers majorly in my farming activities by hiring workers who have so far made the work quite easy from the onset when we were cultivating the far, to the weeding time.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My goal is to make sure that I save enough cash and pay school fees for my children going into the new school that begins in a weeks time. I want to make sure that the fees for the new term are fully settled so that no one is sent back home due to school fees arrears.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference I would say is that I have been able to build a bigger house as compared to the small structure that I used to live in some time ago. The structure was too small as compared to the size of my family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect that there will be a change in my life because I want to start a small scale business for my wife who currently has no source of income. I want to start a fish mongering business for her so as to supplement them

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The last four months have been a blessing to me because I have been investing a small portion of my transfers on my farm by buying fertilizers and the modern hybrid seeds which have been proven to be very productive as compared to using the local breed. One advantage of using the hybrid seeds and fertilizers is because I get a bumper harvest at the end of every season. which then gives me a good output at the end of the season.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The new goal I have right now is to be able to make some major repairs as well as making adjustments and re-sizing my house. Currently, I feel that we are living in a very small congested house that can barely accommodate my family as I would wish. I feel we lack privacy when we have to share our bedroom with the kids.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference for me is that I have been saving the cash every month which I then use to pay school fees for my children. I am glad that my kids are able to attend school interrupted once the fees have been fully paid. I want them to have a better future so that they can live to achieve their dreams later on in life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to repair my house so that it looks more brilliant and of course once the size of the house is increased then everyone can fit in very comfortably without anyone of us feeling squeezed or lack of privacy due to the congestion that we have been witnessing currently.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my life is different in that I have been able to boost my business and from the profits and the transfer I receive from GiveDirectly, I have been able to provide basic needs for my family members with ease unlike before when I relied on one source of income which was unreliable.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to pool resources with my spouse and buy building materials to use in the construction of an iron sheet. When this goal will be achieved staying in a leaky grassed thatched house wont be a challenge any more.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Before I was struggling to provide basic needs for my family since my business was not making much. The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am able to boost my business. From the profits and the transfer I receive from GiveDirectly, I use it to provide a balanced diet meal on a daily basis unlike before when we could have one meal in a day or none. I can also educate my child with ease without being sent home due to school fees arrears.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect in the next six month to have saved enough money and bought the necessary building materials which will necessitate the construction of my decent spacious iron sheet house hence staying in a leaky grassed thatched house won't be a challenge.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Four months ago I would not have been able to buy the high quality fertilizer like I did this time. I used to plant my seedlings using locally made fertilizers that were not giving me a bumper harvest like I experience currently.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I plan to expand the size of my house to accommodate my expanding family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been able to repay the loan that I used to buy the motorcycle thereby leaving me with more cash to use within the household.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I know I will have enough food for the family, some cash to pay school fees for my children and God willing the expansion process will have commenced, thereby resulting in an overall change in my life.
