What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Receiving this money is an opportunity for me to buy another cow worthy $555 to increase on the milk production for sell so we can have money sustain as a family because I need to invest money into something useful to me, get more onions for planting because it yields more and I am able to sell and pay the bills for my boy in secondary this year.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I planted onions worthy $55, 1kg . And last year when the coffee was ready, I and my children harvested it then later sold it and with so much joy, got $277 which I used to buy a cow worthy $197 since I so much desired to own one for milk production and the balance I used to clear school fees worthy $83 for my son who studies away from home in a boarding school in Form two.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I planted my trees on one acer of land in October 2017, but they were all washed away by land slides that happened in 2018. I and children would get income for sustainability, school fee and food at home, once I sold these trees. But since the incidence happened my financial status got so worse that buying food for my Family is now a challenge since I am a widow. It is also so hard for me to acquire income to buy maize seeds and onion for me to plant, yet while the trees were around this was not a challenge at all, because I would buy the various seeds I needed whenever I would sold my trees.
