Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to buy a motorbike for a taxi business. I have a friend who is working for someone and he has developed himself compared to his colleagues who are still doing casual jobs. I knew that I would earn much more if I had my motorbike. I believe I will live a better life because the taxi business will enable me to have an additional source of income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I now have a stable poultry farming project. The project has assisted me a lot in terms of generating income. I normally sell eggs and chicken almost every week which ensures there is good cash flow. I have also never slept hungrily. We can always decide to eat eggs or chicken whenever we feel like. The transfers also helped me acquire three healthy dairy cows.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will be economical stable. I believe after establishing my motorbike business, I will be in a position to provide for my family the basic needs with a lot of ease. Having an additional income is better, I have a lot of confidence that my plans are going to work, in future paying school fees won't be a big problem anymore as it has been before.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life has really improved and I'm grateful to Give Directly. This is because I now own cows which are a form of investment and at the same time, I was able to lease a piece of land where I'm currently farming both for sale and for the family. To me, these are great developments project that will sustain me even when I don't have a source of income. Considering I am a casual laborer the side hustles will come in handy when I don't a casual job to do.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Currently, I have two cows which I bought with the previous transfers. I also planted vegetables and maize that I intend to sell once they mature. For the next four months of my life, I have an additional goal of saving some money from the farm produce and sell the cows so that I can use the money to buy a piece of land. I am looking for a fertile land which will give high returns because I am planning to do farming. I thank Give Directly because if it were not for them I would have never planned to buy land any time soon.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have a large family but we do not have enough land for farming. This has been a challenge because I haven't been able to get enough food to sustain my family. I usually buy food from the market which is usually expensive and inefficient. I'm glad I was able to lease a piece of land through transfers I got from Give Directly. I'm currently farming both vegetable and maize for sale and for the family too.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Currently, I only rely on farming but with my large family, I feel the income I earn is not enough to take care of the family's needs. So in the next six months, I have an additional goal of saving some money which I'll use to purchase a motorcycle. I am planning to save some profits I get from the sale of my farm inputs and add to the monthly savings in six months in order to afford to buy the motorcycle. I'll later hire out the motorcycle and earn daily income from it.
