How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?

So in this like I wanted to do something for myself by building a three bed room house, because my family growing every time on a yearly basis, but unfortunately for me things hed been very disappointing, ugly and difficult for me and my family in this town. Some of the major problem here is to get good job to do for income generation purpose that will enable me to take good care of myself and my family. Again I really want to exstand my many thanks and appreciation to GiveDirectly for the intervention into my life by achieving my goal. As I speak right now my building projects is going well.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I wanted to build my house, but I never had the opportunity to do that because of lack of money.I was doing a petite fish business just for me to survive. My husband is a farmer, but the farming can not yield enough food for my family and I.The house I was living in was very old,and was not even comfortable for the safety of my children and I.The entire roof is bad and whenever rain fall we get wet within in. So when give-directly came to my village and started giving me the transfer fund my goal come true.now I am building my house. All thanks and appreciation goes to give-directly for making me a have a new and comfortable home.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give-directly do well by giving me money enable me to have my own home. The don't do well because they cannot accept gifts from us.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was doing some weeding around my house when I heard my neighbors shouting and rejoicing that their transfer has been sent. My husband quickly took our phone and went to check whether ours has been sent, and he was right on time. Our transfer had just been sent, he couldn't withhold the joy, he came running to me at home with so much smile on his face. When I noticed him from a distance there was no need to be told, cause I already knew from his expression, I too was overwhelmed with great joy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
It has always been my dream to build my own decent place where I and my family will be free to lay our head comfortably, thanks to GD my dream is gradually becoming a reality. Moreover, I don't strive to feed my family anymore, I'm indeed grateful.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will use this money to buy zinc and other house materials to build new house, this place is just a room, we could get strangers at any time and lodging them right now will be a problem.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The most important one is the news of GiveDirectly working in our county and nearby communities, we have witnessed people from GiveDirectly past this road every week and we have been praying and hoping that GiveDirectly will come one day, today is that day and I am very happy right now.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My husband and I credited money to build this house, as we speak, we have not payback all the money we credited, we build this place because that was what we could afford but it is actually small and we do not have money to built another house.
