What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I am very suited and happy to know that I will be recievingvthis cash grant from Givedirectly. I have a sewing machine which I use for small business. I rarely get customers here simply because I don't have materials or sewed clothes that I can sell. This means that I can barely make $5 in two weeks which is totally not beneficial. I M going to invest $278 in buying materials and clothes that I can sew , sell and make money in the future. I am also planning on buying a piece of land in Ruhonjye because this area is so risky and water keeps on coming from underground and uphill as it slopes down hill. The land will cost about $1200 and use $416 to construct a simple two roomed house. This area will give me a better access to the main road and a busy area so that I can gey customers for my sewing g business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Seeing my daughter accept and go back to school has brought me joy. I have been praying and advising her to go back and finish up her studies since I went for less studies I want all my children to go back and finish up school.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My daughter Namasa Brenda went back to school today in senior one at Bulucheke Senior Secondary School. She had taken some time off since the birth of her child, who is now one year old. The challenge I face is looking for her school fees as it has now been increased from $30 to $50. This is hard for me to raise since I have been supporting children alone without the help of the father.
