When I do business and make a profit, I buy fish and were happy because we are eating something nice and different from the usual vegetables and okra. So that's what makes us happy.
What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
When I get this money, I will use it to buy food forst since that's an urgent demand. Then I will improve my house by changing the roof. I will also buy a mattress and other household necessities for my family. I will lastly make sure I also buy a goat at least to multiply the money.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest challenge is food. This is because of farming isn't yielding anything. We put work and effort but the rains don't go as planned in the end we don't harvest anything. To cushion this, I go out to look for piece work for money to buy food. My husband went to South Africa in 2019 for greener pastures to help support us. I love with my mother and siblings and my children, totalling 7 people. It's a challenge to provide for us all.
