How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is better now because I have bought my own land for settlement. Even when I have not yet shifted to stay in it, I feel happy . In addition to this, I bought a cow and household items. They owner of the land I am currently staying in is threatening to chase my family a way.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give me money directly on my phone other than channeling it through other people. This has removed the risks of fraud by the third parties because the organisation deals with the beneficiary directly. I have not seen any thing they have done bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer for buying land that we will shift to since the land I am currently staying in is not my own.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means owning more acres of land. That will help me plant crops, sell some and eat some at household level. The farm land land I cultivate on right now is hired land and some times when I lack money for hiring, the whole season passes by without any serious farming for my household.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in he evening after super, I seat down with my children to advice them on good morals which makes me very happy. My children respect the neighbours and it's upon that reason that my neighbours like them and myself.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
He biggest hardship I face is lack of land for farming. I only own a plot of land that was given to me by my late father. I have to hire land in order to farm which is very expensive for my household.
