How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: Before the coming of givedirectly with this program in our community my family and I live by the little income i make as a gold miner. Am only a helper so the money we helpers make is not much only enough to provide food food and some basic needs of us. I had always wished to build a house of my own, a decent place.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE: Givedirectly have been doing well since they enter the community. From the registration process up till present givedirectly staff have been really good and kind to us in every way. We can not thank the givedirectly family enough for this help they are giving us.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: With our unstable income, my family and I thought that starting up a business of our own will be a better idea. Therefore we use this our recent transfer to start up business so that when givedirectly is no more here we will have something to survive on besides my job.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: I normally work on a boat as a helper in other to take care of my family which is not enough but I would not afford to sit without doing anything. Today with this givedirectly transfer i am building my own house for my family and I. Our out most desire is to have a decent living place and a peaceful life as well.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE: In my own thinking, doing very well from the enrolment process till now. All givedirectly people that I have met are trained, they talk to people well and are always smiling with us. Since givedirectly staff enter our community with this program till present they have always been kind and friendly which I really admiral about them.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: We are going to spend the most of our transfer on purchasing zinc and nails for the construction of our house. We can not thank the givedirectly family enough for this help they are having us

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My wife and I plan to get a bike and do commercial riding when we get our transfer. Transportation from where we live to other towns is very costly, and we engaging into business as such will help us raise more money that well enable us implement future plans.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiness over the past six months has been God's projection on my life despite the risky work I do to earn living. I'm a gold minner and the work I do is risky. It's by the grace of God that I return home safe each and every day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My current challenge now is leaving the work I'm presently doing. I work as a gold miner and I see it to be very difficult for me. I can't easily leave it because I wouldn't have other source of income if I do.
