Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the joy I feel having managed to pay up the money for my plot of land. I am now a free spirited person as together with my family we are living happily. In addition to this, I am delighted that I have paid some bride price to my wife's parents. Prior to getting this transfer, my in-laws were on my neck demanding their daughter's dowry that they even threatened to take her home.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I really felt so happy the moment I received my money. This is because I knew that I would off set the plot of land debt.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer Ugx 500000 to complete payment of my plot of land that I am currently staying in. I then paid Ugx 800000 for my wife's bride price (this is traditon in my culture). I then bought some fresh cassava that I plan to sell off with some interest as it had always been my business. I used the balance of my money to buy a few clothes for my children.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to buy a piece of land that I can cultivate to get food. I will also buy a motorcycle which can generate income for me by way of offering boda-boda services. I believe I will be able to support my family well if I do these. Taking care of my children's education needs will be made easier for me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the morning when my children wake up healthy. They are able to play, eat and they are happy. This is my happiness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of food to feed my family. I don't have land that I can cultivate to get food so I buy food every day and yet there is no clear source of income. I do casual labour to earn a living. Some days when I fail to get where to go and work, my family sleeps hungry. This sometimes forces me to go and work even when I am sick because without that, there will be no food for the day.
