How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, I have been able to boost my business and raise for my self a permanent structure hence improving my standards of living.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly has done well by enabling many people to build permanent houses which are better than the ones they used to live in. On theother hand there is nothing that Gd has done bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for buying 19 iron sheets, paid my child's tuition and added stock to my business with the balance of the transfer.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I am now stress free because I have paid my child's tuition and also have hopes of finishing our house since I have bought most of the necessary items for completing it.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I saw the message saying I had received my first transfers, I ran out of the house with a lot of joy since it was at 5:00am. We started planing how to use our transfers and it resulted to paying tuition and purchasing building materials for our house.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I got my first transfer, I used 700,000ugx for paying tuition for my child. I have bought 19 iron sheets at 543,000ugx, one bundle of whoop irons 42,000ugx, and the balance of 424,000ugx will be used for buying cement and paying labour for the builders. The intention is to have better living conditions in a better house.
