How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
my life is different than it would have been in that now i have solar in my home so i can charge my phone whenever i want, i niw have a toilet in my home, i was able to complete paying for my piece of land that i had deposited some money on.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD does well in fulling their promise to people and changing their lives
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying solar at 150,000 shillings, building a toilet at 280,000 shillings, i am going to pay school school fees for my children and this will cost me 735,000 shillings, 470,000 shillings is going to be spent on completing payment for my piece of land.

Am now looking great because my land is going to be cleared
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy to receive the money which enabled me to pay fees to my children and today i will be clearing the balance for the land i bought
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have used my transfer to clear school fees adding to 900000 and i will use the balance to clear the balance on land

To me receiving this money means educating my children and also buying a plot of land.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is during lunch time when having something to eat.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is failure to educate my children bacause I can hardly afford the school fees and also the uncemented floor of my house that is the reason why we live in a dusty house.
