What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy building materials timber which I have used to build my house and paid laborers who built my house. I bought steel door which I will fix on my house, I spent some amount to pay school fees for my child who is in high school.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have sent my child to school and also I would not have built the house am living in. Thank you GD for the transfer
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has brought alot of developments in our community and also it had uplifted the living standards of recipients. I have not seen anything that GD has not done well

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on building a better house at my homestead as my previous house burnt down. The remaining cash I spent on starting a tailoring business for my husband so as to get income to feed and provide for our children.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is living in a better house with a shinny roof in my own homestead like other villagers. Thanks to GD.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
We spent on buying more iron sheets and a door to finish constructing our house.I had build a house half way when my initial house caught fire and burnt down because I did not have money to finish it so when I received the first transfer I spent on building to secure safe shelter for my family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy and favoured. My grass thatched house had burnt down and we did not have enough money to build a new house . When GD sent us money we had great hope of completing our new house and living a better life. We are very thankful.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We have planned to expand our business,then we will complete our house since the one we were in burnt down. The last transfer we will use it to buy household items.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The proudest achievement as at per now we can't say we have any. Everything we had worked for was burnt down together with our house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship was losing everything to the fire that brought our house down.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of our day is when we are able to get just a meal.
