How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have been working very hard to earn enough money and complete my house project. It looks almost impossible to achieve my goal due very low income. However, when I received my transfer from GiveDirectly, l bought 2 bundles of zinc and 10 bags of cement to complete my building project and move in with my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly, from my own understanding, has been very objective in implementing this program that has helped changed my life and the lives of thousands of poor families across the entire country. I personally see nothing that GiveDirectly is not doing well thus far.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My main goal was to complete my house project and moved in with my family. Thus, as soon as I received my transfer, I bought 2 bundles of zinc for $21,000LD. Additionally, I used portion of my transfer to buy 10 bags of cement to put floor and plaster the walls of my entire house. The balance money was used as transportation of materials and compensation for contractors.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I want to build a new house in Yarpah's town, Rivercess county. we don't have a Junior and senior high school in our town, therefore my kids are in the big town going to school, and there is no good sleeping place for them. With this transfers, it will be a able to buy a land and build a structure for them.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, today is the happiest day for me. Since last month, I have been hearing about GD giving money fo family head that suffering, and I was wishing they visit us someday. Today, God have answered my prayers to see you people. Just by seeing your today I know my suffering will soon be over.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major hard time I'm faced with is money. Ther are lots of good plans for my family, but no money. We only survived through farming and our produce are sold for little due to the lack of good road conditions, Therefore, I'm unable to carried on some of my plans( build a new house, pay my children fees, and even plaster the floor we sleep on now).
