What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought a motorcycle that I operate as an incine geberatung business and I am making bricks for my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done well by giving us the opportunity to receive the cash transfer. We are so happy because personally I never dreamed if owning a motorcycle.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
There is a big difference in my life because I now own a motorcycle which is earning me income . I am also leading a good befitting lifestyle. My life would it still be in a hopeless state which was so terrible.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy a mattress at 105,000 UGX and, a pair of bed sheets at 50,000 UGX and, I bought clothes for my family worth 80,000 UGX. I also bought saucepans at 60,000 UGX and, shoes worth 12,000 UGX and I am still keeping part of the transfer as I plan on constructing my house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received a mobile money message on my phone, I jumped out of my and jubilated with my wife. We danced and praised God for helping us through Givedirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Our daily life is now very better and we are happy as a family. We eat good food and we now sleep in a comfortable bed. Before we were living a life of an outcaste with a lot of misery.

My biggest hardship in my life is when I lost my beloved daddy because it marked the end of my studies.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is when it comes to lunchtime at that time it will get me when am ready to have my lunch.

Receiving this money is going to be the means of helping me to construct my permanent.
