What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I spent it on a cow worth 15000 KES and invested the rest in fish business-I buy fish from the lake in wholesale and sell in retail price in various markets around my area. As a widow, I am the sole supporter of my household members-I pay for them school fees, provide for them food and the rest of the basic needs and therefore I found it prudent to see the way this money can multiply by investing it. I would be glad to deliver the best to my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am now self-employed. I think this is a big difference in my life something that I would haven't achieved if I never received the cash transfer from Give Directly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, what Give Directly does well is that they give out free money-grants but I was not glad that Give Directly never enlightened majority of us how to invest the money to yield more of it.
