I am a family of four children and a wife called Kadzo. The family lives in a three room house which is semi permanent and it is at risk of being blown away by strong winds. The roof timbers are rotten and the nails are loose thus the roof can be blown away any time. During rain the family seeks shelter from neighbors . My wife is a housewife and I do casual jobs making approximately $ 40 per month which caters for food and school fees. I lack the capacity to build another house for the family. I will use $ 700 to build a three room house for the family and make it settle. The house will restore my respect in the community. I will also use $ 300 to buy six goats as an investment. Currently I do not have any investment and I feel bad about it.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I always thank God for the gift of life. From December last year till now none of my family members visited the hospital for medication. I do not take it for granted so the gift of life to the family brings happiness in my life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Housing is the challenge I am currently facing in life. I have a family of six and all live in a three room house. The house is semi permanent and it leaks during the rainy season. All the timbers used for roofing are rotten and the food is at arisk of being blown away by strong winds. This makes the family members seek shelter from neighbors whenever it rains with strong winds.
