Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I have managed to get proper treatment for my husband who was ill of high blood pressure and his heath has improved, this makes me happy. Before I got money I was hustling to treat my husband because I did not have a reliable source of money.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money I felt happy, I believed that the financial assistance that GiveDirectly promised me was real.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used my first transfer for treating my husband, I made and burnt bricks, bought iron sheets, sand, timber which I will use for constructing an iron roofed house. I also purchased Kitchen utensils.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will own a cow that will act as an investment for the household. I do not own any investment except of land that I cultivate on. Part of that money will be spent on constructing a semi permanent iron roofed house that will house us. The grass thatched house I sleep in is small and leaks when it rains because the termites have eaten the grass.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the mornibg when I have woken up in good health. That enables me to go to the garden and carry on with my household work which is a source of livelihood.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of a clear source of income in order to address household challenges. My spiuse is sickly, he can not dig or support me which leaves me single handedly looking for household income. The little money I earn through farming is spent on buying drugs for him which leaves the household without any savings.
